Each moment in each day is like a revelation. Waves of big emotions meet a great idea then pause at stir crazy followed by a zoom cocktail party to talk about right now.
I have never been so present to the meaning of now. I have never had so many conversations about this moment. There is something so awakened about we are. The future has always been uncertain. Now we feel the truth that this is the most precious moment of all.
I hope I remember this as we re-emerge. I hope I remember the deep power of being present. Of pausing in a field, running through a hail storm, checking on on friends and family every day, walking my dog for just a bit longer, hugging my wife because hugs matter, not worrying about what’s next and thoroughly washing my hands.
Being healthy in this moment creates the spaciousness to reflect about this moment. Health is a blessing.
As my wife says, “We are here to do love and be love. It’s so simple.”
Love will nourish us through.
We are all in this together.
We will get through this together.
Keep the faith.
Stay healthy.
I love you.

TODAY’S EASY ACTIVISM
Donate if you can. Here’s a good resource on how to think about donating right now. There are so many organizations who need a lift right now. Families in need of groceries, hospital staff who could us meals, vulnerable homeless kids on the streets, our beloved medical workers and restaurants. The list is long and we are kind. Every little bit helps.
Give yourself a break from the news and spread some love. We would sure feel better, and be in better condition, if the guy unsuited for the office of Presidency was gone. We’ll take care of that in November, if nature doesn’t get him before that. And until then, media breaks matter. Even I have been doing this.
